Sibal concerned over shortage of teaching staff
The HRD Minister Kapil Sibal has promised all help to the Delhi government in expanding higher, technical and vocational education in the capital. Sibal expressed concern over the shortage of teachers in the city. While referring to problems in admissions in Delhi colleges, Sibal said the state government was free to set up its own Open University through a legislation. Dikshit had expressed concern about the fate of children who scored less than 40 percent marks in their school-leaving examination as they are not allowed admission into Delhi University’s School of Correspondence. ..
