Starting this year, the University of Pune (UoP) is trying to make the procedure for admissions to certain courses more student-friendly. The UoP has come up with 20 help centres for students spread across Pune, Nashik and Ahmednagar, 7 of which are in Pune, which will help students fill in their forms, submit them there and get their photos scanned for the hall tickets at the same place.

This facility will be available for students applying for Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor’s of Computer Application (BCA) and Bachelor’s for Business Management (BBM). The students can take the printouts of the entrance forms from the university website, fill them up at these help centres and submit them there itself. These help centres have been set up in the 20 colleges which were the exam centers last year.

The forms for the common entrance test (CET) will be available on http://cet.unipune.ac.in from May 3-20. The students will now be able to go to any of the 20 centres. The photos will also be scanned by the respective centers. The admit cards will then be made available online and the students can download it.
