The course provides a sound academic base from which an advanced career in Computer Application can be developed . These graduates can start their career a Junior Programmer and get promoted to the post of senior Programmers & Project Managers in the IT sector.

Eligibility Criteria
Any candidate who has passed HSC(10 + 2) exam from any stream with English as passing subject with minimum 45% marks at 12th std. .

Admission Procedure
Admissions will be made strictly according to the rules and procedures laid down by the University of Pune or on first come first serve basis.

Duration
Three academic years, divided into six semesters.

Future Prospects
Students have a bright future in the IT field . They could take up jobs as Programmers and grow to become project managers. A post graduation in the relevant field is always proffered.

Eligibility

HSC (10+2) from any stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks and English as a passing subject. Or Diploma.

Number of Seats

Total 160 seats plus additional seats for foreign students.

Application

Eligible students may apply in the prescribed form accompanied by application fees of Rs. 450/- for the Indira Common Entrance Test (ICET) payable in cash or by DD drawn in favour of Indira College of Commerce before 25 th May 2007 . (Please send details of your name, address, Telephone number and e-mail address along with the DD (Rs. 500/-).

Last date of submission of completed form is 30 th May 2007 .

Duration

Three years (full time) on a semester basis, consisting of six semesters.

Selection Procedure and Admission

Indira College of commerce will conduct a Indira Common Entrance Test (ICET) on 3 rd June 2007 . The ICET will be a written test of objective nature to evaluate the aptitude of the candidate on topics of Verbal ability, Mathematical ability, Analytical Ability and General knowledge. The schedule and structure of the ICET will be as follows:
